What this policy covers
This policy explains the information used to respond to jewellery enquiries through this website. If you later commission a piece, we will explain any additional information needed for payment, making or delivery before collecting it.
Enquiries & your email app
The consultation form prepares an email containing your name, email address, budget range, stone and metal preferences, and any design notes you enter. It opens your email application; we receive the enquiry only if you send that email.
The form currently has no website submission endpoint or customer database. Its values are held in the page while you complete the form; the website does not deliberately save them to browser storage. Your browser or email provider may retain drafts or autofill information under its own settings and policies.
Please share only what is needed for your enquiry. Do not include payment-card details, identity documents or another person’s personal information without their permission.
How information is used
Enquiry information is used to reply to you, understand the piece you want, discuss specifications and budget, and prepare or follow up on a quote. If you commission work, necessary correspondence and transaction records are also used to fulfil the order and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
An enquiry is not consent to unrelated promotional emails. Permission for marketing, or for publishing your name, story, images or identifying details, must be requested separately. We do not sell enquiry information.
Service providers & disclosures
Website hosting and email services process information needed to deliver the site or your message. Hosting providers may receive technical records such as IP address, request time, requested page and browser details. If you later order a piece, only information needed for the agreed service should be shared with relevant payment, production or delivery providers.
Information may also be disclosed with your permission or where permitted or required by applicable law. The website currently has no account registration or online payment form.
The final policy must identify the business’s actual hosting and email providers, relevant processing countries and any cross-border practices before launch. Contact the privacy representative for the applicable provider policy and processing information before sending an enquiry if this matters to you.
Privacy & customer enquiries: The business must confirm a monitored contact email before these draft policies take effect.
Retention & security
Personal information should be kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry or order, applicable legal requirements, and the resolution of a dispute. It should then be securely deleted or anonymised. A deletion request may not override a legal obligation to retain a record.
Access should be limited to people who need the information for the stated purpose, with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity. Email and internet communications cannot be guaranteed completely secure; please avoid sending sensitive information through the consultation form.
Access, corrections & privacy concerns
You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccuracies, information about its use and disclosure, or withdrawal of consent for future uses, subject to applicable legal exceptions. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Withdrawing information needed to fulfil an order may affect our ability to provide the requested service; we will explain the consequences.
Privacy & customer enquiries: The business must confirm a monitored contact email before these draft policies take effect.
You can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where relevant. This policy does not limit your rights under applicable privacy law.
Policy updates
The review date above identifies this version. Material changes to the purposes for which information is used require appropriate notice and, where required, fresh consent. Updating this page does not by itself authorise an unrelated use of previously collected information.
